Māori Wardens have six regions.

Māori Wardens’ regions coordinate services to communities and support district and sub-associations.

TE TAITOKERAU, TĀMAKI & TĀMAKI KI TE TONGA
Boundaries included are from the Bombay Hills across Franklin, East Auckland, Waiuku to Otahuhu (Tamaki Ki Te Tonga), then Tamaki encompasses Otahuhu, West Auckland, North Shore to Kaipara, and Taitokerau goes from Kaipara through to Te Hiku O Te Ika (Tip of the north).
WAIKATO, HAURAKI & MANIAPOTO
This region includes Te Kuiti and Otorohanga in the west, Hamilton and Ngaruawahia, and up as far as Paeroa.
WAIĀRIKI, TAURANGA MOANA, MATAATUA, AOTEA & TARANAKI
Māori wardens in this region are located from Taranaki and Whanganui in the west, Taumarunui, Ohakune and Taupō in the centre and across to Rotorua, Tauranga and Whakatāne in the Bay Of Plenty.
TE TAIRĀWHITI
Te Tairāwhiti covers the entire East Coast of the North Island of Aotearoa New Zealand, from Hicks Bay down to Gisborne and also encompasses Māori wardens in the Wairoa District.
TĀKITIMU, RAUKAWA & TE WHANGANUI-A-TARA
This region encompasses the area from Hawkes Bay down to Wellington and includes Napier, Hastings, Wairarapa, Palmerston North and Ōtaki.
TE TAU IHU, TE WAIPOUNAMU & WHAREKAURI/RĒKOHU
Te Waipounamu Region is made up of Māori warden groups across the South Island. We have groups in Motueka, Nelson, Stoke, Kaikōura, Christchurch, Greymouth, Westport, Ashburton, Dunedin, Invercargill and Chatham Islands.
